In conjunction with the derogatory names I slander the Aatxe with, I usually also scream about not wanting their "Piles of Glittering Bullsh*t". Then I rant more at the MF'ing Moo-Cows for good measure until one drops an Ecto for me.

At-axe. Then I started thinking about it because of this thread. Now I pronounce it either typo or ah-tzee (like Yahtzee but with a long a instead of a ya).

I'm dyslexic... so until recently, when I realized the real spelling of Aatxe... it was definitely pronounced "at*axe", but quick like... so "attacks"

I have, they needed a tissue afterwards.
I usually pronounce them A'txe (At-kse) @ all who are complaining about only getting Glittering dust from them... try not to hit them that hard next time. Obviously you are hitting them so hard that all the Ectos are being smashed into powder . Last edited by Rushin Roulette; Jan 03, 2011 at 12:01 PM // 12:01.. |

I used to pronounce them as a tongue breaker, until I found out that they're actually mythological creatures. After that, I kinda had to switch to the original spanish/basque pronounciation...

I'm pretty sure everyone says "Attacks", but it most likely is pronounced more like "at tax" because of the way the word looks. |

This did actually come up in Vent a couple of days ago, oddly enough. Everyone was pronouncing it "at-axe", myself included.
I couldn't care less about the pronunciation; just as long as everyone knows what's being screamed about! |
